For the 2025 edition of The Armory Show the gallery presented a curated exhibition focused on Salvo (Salvatore Mangione, 1947–2015), represented by Dep Art Gallery since 2007. The project traced Salvo’s artistic evolution from the 1970s onward, placing his work in dialogue with fellow Italian artists Alighiero Boetti, Valerio Adami, Natale Addamiano, and Tino Stefanoni—figures who shared thematic affinities and pivotal moments in their careers.
Through rare and significant works, the exhibition explored Salvo’s unique visual language—from conceptual landscapes and architectural visions to emotional color studies and meditative nocturnes—thus offering collectors and institutions a fresh opportunity to rediscover the enduring relevance of Salvo’s contribution to 20th- and 21st-century art
