Dep Art Gallery is proud to announce its participation in The Armory Show 2025, in the Galleries section, the fair’s core sector showcasing outstanding 20th- and 21st-century artworks from leading international galleries.
The fair will take place at the Javits Center in Manhattan from September 5–7, with a VIP Preview on September 4.
We will present a curated exhibition focused on Salvo (Salvatore Mangione, 1947–2015), represented by Dep Art Gallery since 2007. The project traces Salvo’s artistic evolution from the 1970s onwards, placing his work in dialogue with fellow Italian artists Alighiero Boetti, Valerio Adami, Natale Addamiano, and Tino Stefanoni—figures who shared thematic affinities and pivotal moments in their careers.
Through rare and significant works, the exhibition will explore Salvo’s unique visual language, from conceptual landscapes and architectural visions to emotional color studies and meditative nocturnes. Our presentation aims to offer collectors and institutions a fresh opportunity to rediscover the enduring relevance of Salvo’s contribution to 20th- and 21st-century art.
